The Brinell hardness tester is mainly used for the hardness measurement of the materials such as cast iron, steel, non-ferrous metal and soft alloy. The Brinell hardness test is a test method with the largest indentation in all hardness tests, which can reflect the comprehensive performance of the material. It is not affected by the micro-segregation and the inhomogeneities of the sample, so it is a high-precision hardness test method.
Product Overview:
Brinell hardness tester can be used to test castings, forgings, supplied steel, nonferrous metals and semi-finished steel workpieces subject to tempering and heat treatment. It is a portable instrument which can be used in the workshop. It is easy to operate and easily carry. It can test large workpieces on site without sampling.
Operational Principle:
The working principle of Brinell hardness tester is to press the steel ball of a certain diameter into the surface of the sample at a certain speed under the action of a certain test force, and to remove the test force after the specified test force is maintained for a specified time. The Brinell hardness of the metal is expressed by the average pressure on the spherical surface area of the indentation.
